I really like the doll hacking. That should be a mandatory project to help children appreciate that if they don’t like limits that have been externally imposed that they can change them.

And this is too true. As a native USer I’m looking outside the country for jobs when I graduate this spring with my PhD. Not only is funding going to get harder to find but they are also cutting budgets to education in general, meaning that backlog of PhDs with no academic position is getting longer and longer.
