Save the Date, Boston: May 26, Skeptics in the Pub
Two weeks from now, I’ll be hosting our third Skeptics in the Pub here in Boston! We’re stepping things up a notch by moving to new, bigger digs (not to be confused with the Big Dig) and inviting a speaker who is sure to spark a bit of controversy. You’re just dying to know more, aren’t you? Check out the Boston Skeptics site.
And remember, if you have a scientific or skeptical event you’d like to promote, send it to us via our contact form. To learn about upcoming events in your area, you can check out the Skepchick calendar, which also comes in a convenient pocket-size on the right side of this page. You can even subscribe to it via RSS.
Finally, if you want to get the occasional e-mail update from us about Skepchick happenings, you can hop on our mailing list by using the form at right. You won’t get a ton of spam, just a friendly little heads up whenever anything big goes down and (if you want) when stuff is happening in your general area.
PS: These kind of meta-posts mostly sort-of bore me and I’m going to try to write more good skeptical content, I swear! Sorry.
Another event: Carl Zimmer at the Harvard Book Store, 7 PM this Friday.
Sorry I won’t be there. Teaching four nights a week for the first summer session, and that starts next Wednesday. So, I’ll be in class talking about narrative that night.
Hope everyone has fun.
