A portrait was removed from a major gallery after it was deemed ‘pornographic’ for showing a bit of pubic hair. The painting was replaced with another nude.

  1. Alien rock paintings? *facepalm*

    The Singapore story…Kevin’s existence says a lot about homophobia. It says when you’re behind Archie, one of the mildest, most nonthreatening comic books in the world, in terms of social mores, maybe it’s time to get with the times.

Seems like most of the comments on the Israel article are something along the lines of “Israel apologizes for killing people but the Palestinians don’t, so lets stop sympathizing with the Palestinians…” Which is kind of like saying, “hey that olive branch is kind of pointy, maybe we could stab people with it!”

    1. It’s known as a left-handed compliment.

      Given that before toilet paper, people often cleaned themselves with their left hands, in the Arab world, presenting a gift with your left hand meant “I have some lovely shit for you.”
