  1. Duh they’re not going to get pregnant… like cures like… they’re making homeopathic birth control.

To get pregnant they’d have to dilute a condom.

  2. I’m in trouble Amy. I am going through TAM 8 withdrawal.

But I think I’ll be ok if I go to TAM .00000000000000000000000000008 tomorrow … during my lunch break.

  3. @Elyse: Actually, do you know what they actually use as homeopathic birth control? Answer: natrum muriaticum, a.k.a. dilution of sodium goddamn chloride.

I’ll be honest, this episode of XKCD didn’t do anything for me as a piece of humor. But kudos to Randall for sniping at homeopathy.

  4. So do they use infinitely diluted birth control pills as fertility drugs? After reading about “Vacuum C200” and “Luna C200” (diluted moonlight. seriously!), nothing would surprise me anymore.

  5. It’s excellent, and I think the mouse-over text might even be better than the comic.

  6. @halincoh: When I left Vegas it was 105 and a breezy shock to the system 58 when I landed last night. A virtual post TAM party should be arranged for those suffering withdrawal !!

@jogleby: Are natural diluted babies a lower calorie option?

  7. If we every go back to the moon we need to take a homeopath with. The amount of diluted oxygen available should be more than enough. Maybe they could show us how to succuss the moon.
