Ummm. ‘Not this white woman’ is quite specific to a current issue. To devalue it in favor of whatever pet issue the author thinks is more appropriate isn’t really much different from piping up with ‘all lives matter’ when the specific issue isn’t gun control, or militarized police or whatever.
Black Americans being killed by police is a genuine issue. Sure, its a crossroads of many others, but after Martin etc. it really needs/requires attention on its own merits.
That any woman could have voted for Trump is horrifying enough. Sure, the racial subset might really be about evangelicals, or abusive husbands filling in their spouses absentee ballots. But why not hit THIS nail on its head.
