I feel so much better when I don’t eat gluten.

Than I should read it than. I often just glance at the stuff posted here.
The gluten article refers to a “Case Series” which was a review of Mayo Clinic records from 1970 to 2005. In that 35 year period they found a staggering THIRTEEN cases where Gluten MAY have been associated with Alzheimer’s.
That is some epic cherry picking right there. As Einstein said, they look like scientists, they talk like scientists, but…
Reducing my sugar intake makes me enjoy sugar more when I do eat some. On the whole, that grain feller comes off as someone who’s either had an Idea and is now seeing how everything comes together around his Idea. But I suspect an equally strong case could be made for avoiding the number 5 or not wearing purple. As has been well established, we are as a species extremely good at detecting patterns and less good at detecting when a pattern really isn’t there.
Wrt Christmas: We might as well. Everything is closed and everybody else is off to celebrate Christmas with their families. So it’s either celebrate some kind of Christmas with my family (we’re jews) or stay at home and watch Netflix and play video games.
