On November 4, 1501, Catherine of Aragon was introduced to Arthur Tudor. They married, and he died shortly after, and then she became the first wife of Henry VIII. (And I will admit, I’m fond of the historical fiction about the wives of Henry VIII.)

re the article on “sexy baby voice” – I was always under the impression that for males a deep voice is indicative of physical stature, and a higher voice in females is indicative of youth. If we are playing up to these cues then it would be to take advantage of those perceptions.
