- Consider the bank – A metaphor to get the idea of Schrodinger’s rapist across.
- Ladybusiness anthropologist throws up hands, concedes men are the reason for everything – “I can’t believe my feminism blinded me to such a raw, important truth. I now realize that, throughout the hominin lineage, the women were just sitting silently to the side, quivering, reproducing when commanded but otherwise riding the coattails of man’s evolution.”
- What if your mother had aborted you? No, what if she really had? – On being an unwanted child. From Heina.
- Meet the host of the KKK’s kid show – Eeesh. Well, most kids eventually rebel against their parents’ ideals, right? From Mary.
It’s hard to be angry at the kid because you know it is all the parents doing. And that poor little Pug :( :( …but seriously, this issue came up a lot in my political science classes- what do we do as a society about parents who instill or brainwash their kids with racist, hate-filled ideologies. Surely if this was “terrorism” in a mosque, the gun would be jumped, but if it is a masquerading Christian, KKK group it is considered free speech. I guess we hope that the become enlightened later on, but that’s unfortunately not always the case.
Amanda
I really hope that Andrew does end up rebelling against his parents and their ideals. Its disturbing when a kid is taught to hate like that.
Is any one else finding it impossible to load the second story?
The Ladybusiness Anthropologist one? It worked fine for me this morning and again just now when I opened it in a new tab.
*Some* kids, yeah.
