Queereka Looking for Writers

Queereka is almost a year old! To celebrate our one-year anniversary, we are putting out the call for writers.

Writing for Queereka requires some commitment and is a completely voluntary job—you’re paid in thanks and cyberhugs! Applicants should self-identify as queer (meaning any non-normative sex, gender, or sexuality) and be knowledgeable about skepticism and feminism.

EDIT 12/1/2012: Thank you to all who applied! The application is now closed. We will be sending out decision e-mails in the next few days.

Will is the admin of Queereka, part of the Skepchick network. They are a cultural/medical anthropologist who works at the intersections of sex/gender, sexuality, health, and education. Their other interests include politics, science studies, popular culture, and public perceptions and understandings of anthropology. Follow them on Twitter at @anthrowill and Facebook at
