- Psychic cheated by one of her own employees – Elyse says, “Rosemary Altea, famed psychic, can’t even predict (or notice while it’s happening) that one of her employees will rob her of $200,000.”
- Former Catholic priest in photo scandal marries – From Lady Mitris who says, “Molesting children isn’t enough to get a priest kicked out
of the priesthood. However, a priest having consensual sex with an adult he’s in love is a “scandal”.” - Do you have the right stuff to be a NASA pillownaut? – “It sounds like camp, but just, you know, always lying down and urinating through a catheter.”
- An age old argument – From CrimsonBeard.
I bet Denise Hall was wearing a tinfoil hat. Fact: there are no confirmed cases of a psychic successfully reading the mind of a person wearing a tinfoil hat.
But if Hall was wearing the tin foil hat and it has been ‘scientifically proven’ that said hats amplify the government mind control waves through while blocking other frequencies…
On the Effectiveness of Aluminium Foil Helmets:
So therefore the NWO-Illuminati-Reptiloids must have been behind it!!!
* froth * * froth *
@Lyc: Of course! I forgot to account for the reptiloids. (smacks forehead)
God, I can hardly sit still for ten minutes, let alone lay in bed six days.
THIS!! I was thinking the same thing during the whole debacle.
Molest a child? We’ll just move you to a secret place, but you’re not kicked out of the church!
Have sex with a consenting adult women? You’re out!
What the fuck?
No, I definitely don’t have the “right stuff” to lie there for days on end. Drug me and wake me up when we get to Mars orbit, please! :-D
@marilove: I guess he hadn’t officially broken any of their rules because they don’t take a vow specifically saying they won’t molest kids. :\
@Eliza: I don’t give a shit, it’s still fucked up on many levels.
They always do that crap. “Well, it’s not an official vow…”
Ugh.
@tiger kitty: No comment…
I’m still doubtful that they’re really achieving 1/6 gravity effect on the body. If you’re living and working on the moon, you’re going to be moving around a lot, not lying still.
@QuestionAuthority: What? No Q-sicle treatment and thaw-before-colonization for you, QA?
@marilove: I wasn’t excusing them. It’s just my interpretation of their twisted logic.
@Eliza: Oh, no, I knew that was their “logic”. It’s how religion works. It’s infuriating. :(
@marilove: “What the fuck?”
I would think “what†is not an issue either, just “who†you fuck. I wonder if fucking western civilization for two millennia counts as a who or what ??
Padre Alberto became a “scandal” because of the large Hispanic / conservative audience he had (he was a popular TV host).
Several reporters and paparazzi quickly cried foul – the photos, it seems, were staged. Now the fight is apparently focusing on the revenues lost in TV.
@James Fox: Ooooh, good one! COTW for you!
@James Fox: Oh yeah. I agree with MiddleMan. COTW!
*cough* And to comment on the case:
Does anyone but me find that it seems like churches like to make a big deal about the small things and ignore the bigger ones?
This case, where the Catholic church obsesses over a priest having sex with an adult woman and ignores priests who molest children; the case in Brazil with the girl that needed an abortion and her mother was excommunicated while they ignored the guy that raped her etc…
@James Fox: Seriously. COTW.
@Solitas: YES!
Favalora also had harsh words for the Episcopal Church’s decision to accept Cutie.
“This truly is a serious setback for ecumenical relations and cooperation between us,” he said.
Fight behind behind the bleachers after school!
FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!
@MiddleMan: Oh com’on, do it…. ;)
@tiger kitty: No… You want it too much…
@MiddleMan: Okay. You win.
