I think you’ll find that the universe pretty much covers everything
It’s 4am. I can’t sleep. Mostly because this song is stuck in my head.
I think what I love most about it is the skepchickiness of the chick in the video… okay, aside from the “raisins” claim. But I suppose that’s sort of subjective. But I still also suppose that licking a keyboard-playing horse because some guy approached you in a forest preserve and told you to is not really very skeptical at all. I guess you can make an argument for either case. I don’t know.
What I do know is that this song gets stuck in my head for days – sometimes a week or more!
Anyway, welcome to 4am central time.
Check out this cover version of Amazing Horse: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9nleVmEfVK8&feature=player_embedded
It’s pretty wonderful.
Goddammit, now you’ve got it stuck in my head again! I thought I was past this…
I wonder why it’s so catchy? Normally I wouldn’t be drawn to songs about horses…
You
are
evil.
i now am certain… I HATE FLASH and ADOBE!
Take that dirty winky and BEAT Adobe with it!!!
and ur sick toooo Rebecca!
An ironic (?) most beautiful cover. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2UbgcqI1sUA&feature=youtube_gdata
Yeah, well, I’ve had one song stuck in my head for the past few days:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SNy73PP-YeI
(The version that has been stuck starts about 50 seconds in.)
Then this morning I woke up with this in my head:

Is there a neuroscientist that can help with why this happens? (BTW, there *IS* a connection, but I doubt it has to do with why I came up with them.)
That video could be the reason why the iPad isn’t Flash compatible.
Oh it’s time to play earworm, is it?
Bam, take this one: http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/llama
Or a real mind-sticky MST3K bit (the song is short but hey, the clip has some fun skeptic goodness…”I hate to be picky but pumas aren’t really known for flying”): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NHMPR7kXJak
Don’t make me go find the hamsters…
mmm, lemonade, sweet lemonade
yes, sweet lemonade
You knew the job was dangerous when you took it, Fred
My favorite earworm (currently):
or there is of course this one that got stuck in my head for a while:
Or:
(Not a great version, but the record label blocked the official version for those of us outside of Mesh’s home country.)
Well I knew I shouldn’t have watched that dammit.
Regardless, I’ve still had this stuck in my head for the past few days.
p.s. It’s chilly down from labyrinth if you don’t feel like clicking to find out :)
This one has been around for a decade, but I think it’s the most indecipherable of all:
All of the weebls stuff songs are pretty much this amazing.
My favourites:
I have a bad case of diarrhea!
Owls! Everyone is fond of owls!
Everybody needs to get a blimp cause blimps are pretty pimp!
(make sure to freeze frame their periodic table of elements)
Tell me have you seen the marvelous breadfish?
Where Kenya see lions?
And of course the elephant in the room:
Snaaaaaaake!
But this is turning into Internet archaeology.
LOL, worst screenshot ever. Great job, Youtube.
Also, I’ve had “Party in the USA” stuck in my head for the last 2 days thanks to my daughter. I’m tempted to listen to “Amazing Horse” five times in a row just to get it out of my head. It would almost be worth it.
Love it, but a bit disappointed to see that the horse doesn’t actually turn into a plane.
As a gift to all the magicians in the audience, I’ll recommend a viewing of Magical Trevor: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=au3-hk-pXsM
You’re welcome.
@k-rex: Yeah, Magical Trevor is the one that always gets stuck in my head. Sid will hum one line and then I’m singing it the rest of the god damned day.
Really weird video. It is catchy for some reason. I think the girl should say either that’s stinky or that’s kinky after the guy says pull on its winky.
