#FoxFashionAdvice: Let the @FoxandFriends All-Male Panel Fix Your Fashion Emergencies!

Yesterday, Fox & Friends aired a very helpful segment letting women know whether their leggings were okay to wear or not, hosted by an all-male panel of fashion experts. Here are their names and qualifications:

Andrew Sansone
Andrew Sansone
(Married a lady who is on Fox News)

arthur aidala
Arthur Aidala
(Lawyer who once represented J-Lo)

willie robertson
Willie Robertson
(Killed a duck)

Here’s how Jezebel summed up the panel’s feelings on leggings, in general:

Robertson has no problem with leggings, because his daughters wear shirts long enough to cover the “lady parts.”
Aidala has a rule in his household: “If it’s not worn in the monastery, it’s not worn out on the street.”
Sansone has babies, and feels it is appropriate and “cute” for babies to wear leggings.

Then the panel ogled three real-life women and told them whether or not they were modest enough. Willie looked very closely at the first woman’s crotch and determined the material of the leggings was thick enough to allow her to live.

Here’s the full segment if you’d like to watch.

This has inspired the Skepchick writers to also get the panel’s feelings on our fashion choices. We figured the best way to do it would be by tweeting photos of our outfits @FoxandFriends and include the hashtag #FoxFashionAdvice and wait patiently for a response. Let’s all join in and take advantage of the collective wisdom of this fine panel of women’s fashion experts!

  1. I’m sure nuns are allowed to wear leggings, as long as they don’t make it a habit.

  2. Did Willie Robertson actually refer to them as “lady parts?” A guy who is literally named after a “gentleman part” can’t say those words?
