Skepticism

Comment of the week!

I know a passel of my fellow Skepchicks are at CONvergence ramping up for SkepchickCON, but I am still here protecting the HQ!  Through rain, sleet, 100+ heat waves, and one spectacular firework here in San Diego … I am still bringing you COTW.

This week the nomination are slim even though the options are many, so please keep in mind you have the power to nominate!  Only you can make a difference!

Since you seem to enjoy it as much as I did, I’m going to continue to post an Honorable Mention COTW back from the dark ages when nominations were left fallow.

On to this week’s winners:

@scribe999 gets an honorable mention for this funnier-out-of-context bit:

I like my t-shirt idea better: “If you’re rich, hands where I can see them. Now slowly remove your wallet, drop it to the floor and kick it over…”

This week’s winner is @BuzzParsec who, incidentally, nominated the above quote for COTW back in the day!

I think we need some new words.

1) “slut” Someone who has more fun than you do. New word: “Chupacabra

2) “whore” def: Someone who will do anything for money. New word: “Inhofe”

3) “bitch” def: Someone who complains about how every little thing and how it affects them. New word: “MRA”

Have a great weekend people!

  1. Scribe, you grab the wallets, I’ll take all their COTWs, and we’ll meet up outside of town to split them up, okay?

  2. Actually, it was Skulleigh who nominated Scribe for the COTW. Does this mean we have to split the loot 3 ways?
