Sydney! I’m Back on the 14th!
Hey all you kick-ass Australians who have been asking me if I’m doing a solo show in Sydney: the answer is yes!
The University of Sydney Atheist Society is hosting me December 14th at 6pm at Manning Bar, where I’ll probably be talking about Christmas, so be sure to bring presents and mistletoe and egg nog and kangaroos or whatever you use to celebrate here. Admission is $20 general, $5 concession. Be there!
And don’t forget that I’ll also be in Melbourne and cities in New Zealand over the next few weeks! Dates are after the jump.
December 1: Melbourne
I’ll be doing a free lecture along with Brian Dunning!
6:30pm
Bridie O’Reilly’s
29 Sydney Road
Brunswick, Australia
December 7th : Christchurch
The Twisted Hop from 7pm (feel free to show up early though)
Tickets are $5. Sign up and pay beforehand to guarantee a place in the limited-size venue (110 max):
Details and Signup
There will be door sales if there is spare capacity, but you have been warned!
December 9th : Wellington
The Backbencher, 34 Molesworth Street
Tickets are $20.
Details & Signup
December 11 : Auckland
The Crib, 151 Ponsonby Road, 7pm
This is a dinner event – Tapas style food (ED: Sweet I love tapas!). Tickets are $40 which includes the dinner. Please arrive on time.
Edit: Dinner tickets are now live!
DOOR SALES ARE UNLIKELY as the venue needs to know dinner numbers in advance.
December 14: Sydney
Yeah I already posted this above but I figured I’d put it here for those with short attention spans.
BTW, in case you’re wondering those are my feets in the cascades of a waterfall in the beautiful Blue Mountains. You guys have quite the pretty countryside here.
oh rebecca, i’ve always wanted you to do a solo show down under *ascending slidewhistle*
thank you ladies and gentlemen you’re too kind, try the shrimp
When I went to the Blue Mountains it was pouring rain… God must love you.
YAY – that’s such good news for us slackers who didn’t get TAM tickets in time. I’ll be there. Two questions:
1) How do we book tickets?
2) Are children (specifically girl children aged 19 months and called Heather) allowed in the bar?
And I say again, YAY!
Drove through the Melbourne rain to see Rebecca and Brian and it was great! (Don’t mention the war…or should that be DDT)
It was sensational to watch you strut your “snarky” stuff Rebecca. Were those two Yule Lads behind you Bowl Licker and Sausage Eater? Just wondering. ;)
Hey the night you’re in Auckland there’s an album release show by The Trons, a self-playing robot band.

Not sure if you’re a robot geek, but just FYI
@Monika:
Yes you can bring your spawn, the bar section will actually be closed. You don’t need to pay in advance, just RSVP to [email protected] to secure a seat – otherwise you might have to stand :o
