Bonus Post: Do You Have Audio from TAM 6?

Someone just e-mailed to let me know that the Flamingo screwed up and failed to record audio for all of Saturday’s sessions of TAM 6 (The Amaz!ng Meeting). Oh noes! If you were there and managed to get anything — even if it is audio on a video — please contact [email protected]. Thanks!

  1. I have no audio, but just realized how much fun it would be to over-dub the voices of each speaker. Imagine Richard Wiseman with a deep, rich, barry White kind of voice.

  2. Well.

  3. Ok, I’ll bite.

    Leonard Nimoy: as Steve.

Tay Zonday: as Bob, just because I want him to have to actually record Bob’s science or fiction answers in that voice.

The Woman who does the introductory voice. Forgive me I’ve gone and forgotten her name. Which is terrible, because she’s now married to one of the Rogues. I’ve also gone and forgotten which one: As Rebecca because I totally want to hear Rebecca’s famous “are you holding a penis” comment done in a British accent.

Teller: as Evan simply because they look somewhat alike to me in the few pictures I’ve seen of Evan.

Nicholas Brendan (from Buffy the Vampire Slayer): As Jay Novella Also because of the look alike factor.

  4. They didn’t record audio the entire day?!

    How… professional.

  5. That’s disappointing. Although I am very happy the mistake wasn’t made on Friday. It would be really tragic if we didn’t have the audio from Neil DeGrasse Tyson’s keynote. (No offense to Saturday’s speakers intended).
