Thanks to everyone who wrote in with links to Tom Cruise’s crazy, creepy Scientology recruitment video. Right now, the Scientologists are hard at work trying to suppress it by getting it yanked off whatever site happens to put it up. Huh. I'm genuinely surprised it took this long to create a Scientology category.

Is Tom just crazy? Seems he's getting a real high off of the power trip of being so high up in Scientology. Maybe thats part of the appeal. I guess I'm wondering if anybody has an opinion on what the attraction to Scientology is for Tom (and Will Smith). He's obviously a bright guy and has the financial means to spend his time doing whatever he wants.
Tom wants to go on vacation to romp and play but he can't because…."He knows".
What about poor people who can't afford all the E-Metering and Thought Education classes? Are the poor to be condemned to a second class existence?
It's OK with me if Tom Cruise is nutso. I'm realy disappointed about Will Smith though. :-(
