Skepticism and sports
I found this list of sports-related hoaxes, cons, and tricks to be very amusing, and you should, too. One humorous example they missed was the classic “We Suck” prank that Yale pulled on Harvard in 2004. Yale students dressed up as a Harvard pep squad and handed out cards to the crowd of Harvard students, alumni, and fans cheering their team on at Harvard Stadium. The large home crowd assumed they would be spelling out “GO HARVARD;” when they proudly displayed the cards spelling out “WE SUCK,” Yale fans on the opposite side of the field went nuts. View the video here! Good stuff.
Ha ha! That rules.
Wait…this is a hint that hypnomarketing is a fake, isn't it? :D
:D
The MIT pranks at the Yale-Harvard game are usually a lot better.
You know, there's all of this "Harvard Sucks" sentiment around Yale, but I've rarely seen anti-Yale sentiment around Harvard. Who has something to prove?
