Skepticism

New Issue!

It came down to the wire, but we managed to put together the second issue of Skepchick, which is online now. We happened to have enough great contributions to make an entire issue devoted to religion, featuring articles from the Jewish, black, Buddhist, and atheist viewpoints. I already have a ton of great stuff lined up for next month, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want more. I hope you can figure out the double negative in that sentence. In any event, if you have a letter, article, interview, joke, link, or adoring accolade to contribute, write me at [email protected].

February Skepchick! Go read it! Now! Why are you still here?

  1. Incredible issue, great work. At first I thought there were issues of Skepchick I couldn't find. Then I realized the Jan issue was the first issue, at least I think it was. Now that Feb is out and you guys have done such an excellent job, I see a wonderful thing starting here. And now it's all clear what's going on.

That was an excellent report on TAM4 and I'm totally jealous. :D I haven't read all the feature articles yet but plan to.

Anyway, let me be the first to congratulate you on the Feb issue in your new and also excellent blog.

    Hooray for skeptical women!

  2. Skeptigirl — thanks for the congratulations! This is, in fact, only the 2nd issue. I’m still working out the layout and exactly what the content will be, but so far so good I think. We’ll be offering past issues for perusal as soon as we figure out the best means of archiving them.

Bug — Sorry! I’ll buy you a new one as your wedding present!

  3. Congratulations on your 2nd issue! Really good job, and fwiw, I like the front page image – being a bit daring can be a good thing. Keep up the good work, and thanks for adding a slice of meaningful conversation to the web.
