Skepticism
Quiz: Deepak, 2Pac or Six Pack?
Deepak Chopra is the quantum mystic and alt-med practitioner responsible for albums like The Soul of Healing Meditations and Chakra Balancing: Body, Mind, and Soul. Tupac Shakur is the murdered west coast rapper who created hit albums like Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z. and The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory. Sam Ogden is the sole male writer on Skepchick.org and is well know for the wit and wisdom he imparts after we make him drink a six pack of Lone Star through a funnel.
But can you tell which brilliant thinker uttered each of these 14 pearls of wisdom?

This … is awesome.
I got 10/14. When I first saw the quiz, I thought it was going to be a marry/kill/sleep with quiz. My only problem with that is that it would be to easy.
Oh wow. Please let this be a regular feature! So funny, so much fun. And I didn’t even do that well! 8/14
Very cool. Nice job, Rebeckle!
Local election . . . hehehe.
Yup, 8/14 for me as well.
As for shoot, sleep or marry, I would keep them in the order they are now (deepak – 2pac – 6pack).
Unfortunately, I think 2 of those are illegal in the state of Texas, and it’s not shooting Deepak.
Although I had more appreciation for the rap/hip-hop genre in my youth than I do today, I do occasionally find myself guilty of not giving artists like Tupac enough credit. This is one of those times.
11/14. I think I could’ve done better, but I attributed every quote I wasn’t sure about to Tupac.
@Peregrine: Tupac really was a fantastic rapper. Kinda sucks that we lost him and are now stuck with 50 cent. Boo.
10/14
9/14
Damn, I could’ve sworn “Who’s for pancakes?” was from Chopra’s “The Seven Spiritual Laws of Breakfast”.
6/14 and proud.
7/14.
8/14 and I concur with the sleep/shoot/marry consensus.
5/14. I guess I’m just a failure when it comes to the pacs.
6/14 – It’s very easy for me to believe that anything that duchey sounding came from Deepak, I should have given 2Pac more ‘credit’
I must protest this cruelty! At least let Sam have a six of Shiner, instead of Lone Star!
No six-pack has ever spoken to me. It takes much more beer than that.
7/14, incidentally.
9/14
That was fun.
3/14. I voted for six-pack in every one since they all sound like stuff I might say after a six-pack (or four).
9/14. Got all of Sam’s.
@Steve: COTW – Wouldn’t surprise me much if dippy Deepak did write something similar…
8/14 for me too. Not surprisingly (to me) I got all of Sam’s. I don’t know who the hell 2Pak is so it was difficult to separate his goofy utterances from Deepak’s.
9/14 nice to see I’m in the upper percentile
8/14. Far from perfect but much above the gorilla quotient.
8 of 14. Glad to see that’s a satisfactory score.
Next quiz: Uma, Oprah, or Chopra?
6/14 Deepak’s douche-light was burning bright
I got 10… which is sad because I took this quiz last night before it was published and got 11.
Also, I saw Sam’s answers.
My brain is fine with being exposed to large amounts of drugs and alcohol, but it will not tolerate being used to store this shit.
14/14 Oh, yeah…that shows I know Tupac and beer addled thought when I see them. Almost got tripped up by the shotgun on the roof one, then I figured Tupac’s probably wasn’t around and if he was, would have been arrested for firing off a shotgun in LA. :)
I got 7 right, though i was thinking about the other one that somehow was not listed in the choices…

8/14 I want to go drinking with Sam now.
@Tim3P0: Nice.
@Mark Hall:
Word, my brotha.
10/14 — I don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing :-/
11/14
@Sam Ogden: I mean, hell, I don’t even drink beer, and I know Lone Star is shit.
I mean, chicks, amirite?
@Elyse: “I got 10… which is sad because I took this quiz last night before it was published and got 11.
Also, I saw Sam’s answers.”
If you didn’t work here, I think that would be my COTW. I less than three you.
Just want to add my voice to those who said that this quiz was a blast! I completely dissed 2pac; I gave him no credit at all and it showed with my 5/14 score!
@Peregrine: not that you were asking, but there is a fantastic underground hip hop scene, based partially in minneapolis, that i will pimp at any opportunity. these people are smart, witty, politically conscious, include several skeptics and atheists, and are fun to listen to.
on rhymesayers , eyedea and abilities are my favorite.
on doomtree , dessa is killer.
there are many others i could rattle off as well: sage francis, aesop rock, gift of gab….lots of great, nerdy, entertaining stuff…
8/14!
More please!
8/14– I’m adding a “Sam Ogden Quotes” category to my collection.
and let me add my vote for the “Do it again.” crowd.
Love quizzes. More please.
7/14
Ha ha ha! I only got half correct! Deepak and Tupac can clearly be substituted at will in my mind! Maybe if I go drink a six pack one of them will start to make some sense… or at the very least maybe Sam will hang out with me.
9/14.
64%
I’m a failureeeeee. A failure. Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!
( but … that was actually fun!)
6/14!! Gah!!! XD
6/14 Amy…like you, the Deepok/Tupac mix up was my downfall!! So funny. If I had reversed them I would have had 11/16. Not that I am really counting every single point or competitive in any way….
9/14.
Six Pack Sam is clearly the wisest of the three. He’s really given me some things to think about.
Maybe I should find my pants.
Man, I suck. I got 4/14. Deepak was so silly that I thought stuff he said was sixpack and stuff sixpack said was Deepak.
10/14
9/14
I am for pancakes. How could you possibly be against them?
