  • Black patient hooked to IV arrested after going on walk outside hospital, by Bill Hutchinson at ABCNews: “An African American man recovering from pneumonia says he was arrested after a white security guard and police officers racially profiled him when he went for a walk on his doctor’s orders outside a northern Illinois hospital while attached to an IV machine and wearing a hospital gown.”
  • ‘Hamburglar’ Arrested After Allegedly Stealing Safe, Cooking Burger from a Wendy’s, by Alberto Luperon at Law & Crime: “Patrick Benson, 34, was arrested Saturday morning for being a ‘hamburglar.’ That’s not our phrasing. This is how the Martin County Sheriff’s Office in Florida described him when they put out a statement on Friday seeking to identify the then-unknown suspect: ‘A suspect coined as the modern day Hamburglar doesn’t appear to have any problem making himself right at home after breaking into local food establishments to make himself a burger.'”
