My personal opinion is that they should’ve gone with the fact that he used his mother’s illegally-acquired weapon. Which is an actual fact. Crack down on strawman purchases and other illegal means of acquiring a firearm.
We’re still hearing from the ‘Pearl Harbor was an inside job’ whackos. Nothing, absolutely nothing, can teach someone who invokes vast conspiracies to avoid facts that interfere with their beliefs.
