  1. If you scroll down a lot (a LOT) in the NASA soundcloud, you get to some actual physics sounds. The whistler waves from Jupiter (“lightning on Jupiter”) are pretty awesome.

    There’s also CRaTER live, which somehow is taking current data from the LRO cosmic ray telescope and converting it to music. This happens in the office next to mine and I don’t really understand how he does it. Marty claims he can hear patterns in the data this way.
