SkepchickCon in Pictures!

You may have noticed Skepchick’s shiny new look. Well, I’d like to give our new theme a test run with an image gallery, and what better choice than a look at some moments from this past SkepchickCon! Enjoy.

UPDATE! I figured out how to add captions so now you can tell what’s going on. In case it doesn’t come through in the pics, let me assure you that much fun was being had. It was possibly our greatest SkepchickCon yet.

  1. Could you put some descriptions on some of these, please? I don’t know who everyone is or what’s going on in all of them!

  2. Rebecca Watson,

    LOL!

Melanie the sword of absorbing skepchick serial killer. That has to be the scariest movie of all time!

  3. Rebecca Watson,

By the way, I can’t put my finger on it, but something about that conference reminds me of the eighties. I don’t know why.

    1. Heina Dadabhoy,

HI! I was worried we wouldn’t see you here anymore after you left!

  4. Adam is awesome! I would love to get a copy of both the ones I’m in. I don’t know how he managed it, but I look great!

  5. But what IS the stupidest pseudoscience ever? (Is it numerology or did somebody come up with something even stupider?)

And that looks like a fun con. Perhaps even more fun than last year’s Oslo Comics Expo where the incredibly high price for a beer kind of put a damper on it for me.

  6. Next time you cosplay OITNB, are you going to need a podcaster? I could wear a dark sports coat and dress slacks and an open collar shirt and practice an annoying radio DJ voice and being fatuous and get a haircut and shave and … wear shoes… Uh, never mind.

  7. Are you trying to convince people to come to next year’s Skepchickcon? Because it’s working.
