After several weeks of writing This Week in Miracles, I am quickly coming to the conclusion that if you are a sports team, you want a miracle. If you are a baby, a miracle is the worst thing to happen to you.
The fact that so many people survive shark attacks is proof positive that sharks usually aren’t really looking to kill and eat the person they are attacking. Yet the headlines always proclaim it a miracle when the victim survives. It would make more sense to call it a miracle on those relatively rare occassions when someone dies
The shark was probably a running mackerel. :P
