On December 9, 1965. the Kecksburg UFO Incident occurred, in which an object streaked through the sky and allegedly left debris behind. According to NASA, the “UFO” was a Russian satellite burning up in the atmosphere. It’s a pretty interesting read–check it out if you have a few minutes!

I’m always impatient for the next Tropes vs. Women video, but it’s always worth it when it’s posted. Some of the older marketing footage in this one was particularly interesting: it must have been a lot of work to dig some of that up!

This Land Is Your Land was one of our go-to songs during the Wisconsin protests back in 2011, when Scott Walker was union busting. The people who didn’t know the full set of lyrics definitely learned them.
