I know it wouldn’t help for a known female scientist but I wonder if it would be helpful and the science community better served if scientists only used their first initials and last names for publishing and requests for funding and grants. At least as a way to say, look at the work and don’t make assumptions.

I saw that Pantene Ad. I really liked it actually. I thought they did a good job with it.
