Americans United Wins the Internet with Jane Lynch & Jordan Peele
Americans United for Separation of Church and State, one of my favorite secular orgs in the US, has released a hilarious 1970s-esque video of comedians Jane Lynch (of Glee and various Christopher Guest films) and Jordan Peele (of Key & Peele) performing a song about why Church and State must part ways forever, much to Church’s chagrin. Historically, the “separation” was to limit the influence of the state upon the church, not to limit the influence of the church upon the state.
