#FreeAlber Photos & Blasphemy Rights

The petition to Free Alber Saber is still going strong over on Change.org: if you haven’t signed yet, please do, and share with friends! The good people running the Free Alber Facebook Page are now collecting photos of people holding signs that say “Free Alber” or some variation thereof. I’m embarrassed that it took me several days to get around to doing mine – please don’t mimic my mistake! You can also put your pic on Twitter under the #FreeAlber hashtag.

Speaking of blasphemy . . .

The Center for Inquiry has launched a new website and video for the Campaign for Free Expression, highlighting the real people like Alber Saber, Alexander Aan, and Pussy Riot, who are currently being oppressed by idiotic blasphemy laws. I’m excited to see how the Campaign helps get out the word about these injustices so we can work toward fixing them. Here’s the video:

    Great video too.
    I have to wonder who the Hell Michigan is having Mr. Edamaruku facing arrest for explaining a Catholic miracle?
    And Catholics wonder why there are people that dislike them.
