I’m confused. So Al Gore was a woman?
Grace Hopper did contribute to substantial advances in computer networks, but this is actually overshadowed by her brilliance in inventing the first compiler. The abstraction layer provided by the compiler is what makes programming languages beyond assembly even possible. It can’t really be understated how important a development that was.
Something just occured to me about the “Women struggling to drink water” article – from the same woman who brought us the salad and weight-lifting articles.
Several of the commenters suggest that the water is supposed to symbolize something dirtier, to appeal to horny men. And I can certainly see that interpretation. And it would make more sense than just watching women being unable to drink.
However: Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t the preferred version of that fantasy one where the woman, y’know, swallows? Which none of the women manage to do?
