A Quick Note About Ask Surly Amy

This is just a super quick note to say that I feel terrible that I haven’t had time to answer any of the “Ask Surly Amy” questions that have come in over the past few weeks and so I offer you my excuse and a photo-apology-gram after the jump.

The TAM grant program and preparation for SkepChickCON and Geek Girl Con has simply taken up all my time and energy. My apartment is currently a cross between an art factory that would make Warhol proud and a fundraising camp that would make a politician drool. I promise after things start to slow down in a week or two, I will get back to answering your fabulous questions.

If you have sent in a question that I haven’t answered yet and you want to ping me about it through the contact link or in the comments here, that is totally welcome. It will help me prioritize the questions when I am ready to dive back in. Thanks for your patience and thanks to almost everyone who writes in.

Love,

Surly Amy

  1. Oh, no worries, from my perspective. I figured you were extra busy with the grants and Surlyramics production. Your hard work is appreciated!

  2. I’m sorry, Amy, but I can’t accept your apology if only because you don’t look surly, you look apologetic. You have a reputation to uphold! ;-)

BTW, I think it’s great that you’ve been working so hard for the events.

  3. Dear Surly Amy,

My favorite Internet advice columnist hasn’t provided any advice for a long time now. Should I accept her explanation that she has just been too busy, or should I launch my patented priv-whinge at her?

Help me Obiwan Surly Amy, help me!
