Introducing the Independent Podcaster’s Network

Sooo I’m involved with this new podcast and I debated whether or not to mention it here because it’s not skeptical per se, but it is done entirely by Brian Thompson (of the Amateur Scientist podcast), Adam Isaak (producer of Point of Inquiry), and me (you know me), all of us skeptics and atheists and pro-science types. It’s called the Independent Podcaster’s Network, which is an organization that provides free studio space and bandwidth to small podcasters who wouldn’t otherwise be able to keep up a high quality weekly show.

If you subscribe via iTunes or RSS, you’ll be treated to a variety of delightful 30-minute shows, with one magically appearing each week. Our first show (last week) was Sorbocast, a fan podcast about Kevin Sorbo from the show Hercules: The Legend Continues.

Debuting today is Ghost Photos, a show about ghost photos. Photos of ghosts. The hosts are believers in ghosts, though one is highly skeptical of the existence of Draculas. They even have an in-depth interview is with noted skeptic and Ghost Photo expert Richard Wiseman.

Future episodes will include Our Daily Bread (a weekly show about bread), Pogzcast (discussion on pogs and pog-related items), and Playa Report, a pick-up artist show featuring another very special guest.

So yeah, even though it’s a bit different than the skeptical podcasts I usually do, it’s a fun show that will feature a lot of familiar voices. Check it out and if you like it, please subscribe and give us a nice review on iTunes!
