Finally! A Christian Bigfoot Movie

Did you know that Focus on the Family, the highly influential, ant-gay, anti-woman multi-million dollar Religious Right group, has a film production department? And did you know they made a Bigfoot movie?
Legend of the Desert Bigfoot is apparently about a group of kids in search of a large, hairy primate who is living in the desert. But more importantly, it’s about how God can help you find him. I haven’t seen the whole movie yet but so far that’s the best selling point for Christianity that I’ve ever heard.
Here’s a 10-star review on IMDB:
I worked during the filming of these movies, it was an experience i will never forget, nor will my children. Mr. Callahan [lead actor, “Pop Fowler”] took my children to Dairy Queen for ice cream, and had a blast. I enjoyed the movies as well, along with my children. Once in a while my son will inquire of his whereabouts. I would love to get a hold of the movies again for my grandson, the ones I had got lost in moves. I do know they each had a valuable lesson to teach children of all ages. Does anyone know if they will be doing anymore movies in the future? I was not a Christian while I was working with the team during this filming, i was hired on through a temp agency, but did become a Christian in Dec 95, Praise God. Which lead me to view these movies in a different light.
Praise God! Ten stars.

Only slightly less terrible than the monstrosity that was McGee and Me.

I have to admit that the navajo/apache joke made me LOL.
Oh boy oh boy, do those kids get themselves into a pickle! I am sure glad god could give them some guidance on what to do! Or did I mean the dog? /freeze frame jump in the air with cheesey music
“Dog” is “God” spelled backwards. Just sayin’.
*Spoiler* It turns out Bigfoot IS the boy’s father missing all these years! Also, Jesus.
This just in, Tom Servo will no be debunking FOF movies.
Why are we surprised that people who have abysmal taste in books have equally bad taste in movies?
why would you leave such a comment on a site that is all about equality? You cannot assume that all Christians have the same taste in books or film, and therefore any comment as such is a foolish attempt to generalize (Read: Stereotype) an entire group of people.
Wait, so… God will help you find bigfoot, but nobody has found bigfoot, so what does that say about god? Somebody didn’t think this one through.
God is in all of us… therefore, we all have big hairy bigfoot in our meatsacks?
This movie is blasphemy, I say. God isn’t like Bigfoot; God is Sasquatch
@Holytape
That… that is the Greatest Story Ever Told. I am seriously considering accepting Sasquatch Jesus as my saviour.
You know it’s sad that we’ve gotten to a point where Ron Jeremy can’t vacation in the North West without being mistaken for Bigfoot…
… you see cause he’s really hairy… and up… OH YOUR GOD IS THAT ELVIS!!!
*runs away*
Wow. And here I was thinking that the thing my hometown was famous for couldn’t sink lower.
Reminds me a bit of Rare Exports. Not much, but a little bit.
I wish these people had prayed for some acting skills.
If you haven’t seen it, also check out Blood Freak, available from Troma.
It’s a pro-Christian, pro-natural foods, anti-drug horror gorefest about a guy that turns into a giant THC addicted chicken and goes on a killing spree. And it’s not joking.
When I saw this post’s title I thought the topic would be about the Mormons and Big Foot, or at least what some Mormon Big Foot supporters believe. Here’s a link:
