Living Without Religion – A Campaign by the Center for Inquiry
Check out this gorgeous video to promote CFI’s Living Without Religion campaign, which stars several Skepchicks (if you look carefully):
And speaking of, I’m now a columnist at CSICOP.org! My first article is When Big Pharma Makes it Tough to be a Skeptic.
Love it! Right to the point. Any idea where this might be aired?
@Laika:
From the press release:
“Washington, D.C., is the first of the trio of cities to host the advertisements. As of March 1, the ads are featured on 15 buses and in two well-traveled Metro stations, Dupont Circle and Farragut West. Drivers in Indianapolis and Houston will begin seeing billboards the week of March 7.”

Nice column, too! CSI could use a bit more humor mixed with their skepticism. When I received my most recent issue of Skeptical Inquirer, which lists its most recently inducted Fellows, I thought, “Why isn’t Rebecca Watson on this list?” Maybe next year.
I like the ad, very nice.
And congratulations Rebecca on your new gig.
Outstanding! I hope it makes those people who are on the edge…tip over, just a bit.
So glad they’re not neglecting Houston.
I really enjoyed the commercial and was pleased at its positive approach. I think providing a positive alternative to religion will be more effective than attempting to compel people to reject the idea of god.
It is important to remember that there are many lucky people whos lives are enriched by religion rather than adversely affected by it. Our aim is not to antagonize those people but to offer an alternative to people who find religion isn’t working for them.
