Slightly OT: Yesterday the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit upheld the “vaccines don’t cause autism” ruling of the vaccine court. The only remaining place the anti-vaxers can go is the US Supreme Court. IANAL, but I think they would somehow have to prove that the requirement of science-based evidence was unconstitutional.
It could have been worse/better—it could have been an HPV vaccine poster with the same headline.
That poster IS THE SHIT! I hope the nerds (like myself) at the convention like it enough to take part in the “get a quick jab for society or you’re a selfish asshole” event. That first line just takes the cake. PRICELESS!

Now that my computer is fixed and I’m not trying to read Skepchick on my ipod I can fully appreciate the awesomeness that is these posters. And the campaign in general. When I’ve brought up the topic of Pertussis making a comeback in NZ, I’ve been told “I worry too much”. So good on you Elyse and everyone for getting the word out there.
