We’ve featured videos of both these guys in past Skepchick posts. Here they are together talking about pseudoscience craziness.

  1. “You have hair of a color that I shall define as red.”

Typical pseudoscience. Sure, you can claim to be able to “see” things with your “eyes” but there’s no way to verify your claim. I mean, “color”? What a ridiculous concept.

If there were anything to this “sight” thing, it would give animals that had it a huge reproductive advantage and by now everyone would have it.

  2. …I’m still recovering from the geekgasm aftershock at seeing those two chatting together, let alone being awesomely skeptical. How little attention have I been paying to the world around me that I hadn’t already seen this clip?

    Also: What @Northernskeptic: said.

  3. You know, they do make a very intriguing point there, about psychic powers giving people a huge advantage in the natural selection game. And not just people, but animals too (but I repeat myself).

I’m certainly not a biologist, but doesn’t that kinda prove that psychic powers don’t exist?

Of course, I can immediately think of a response a believer would give me if I brought that up: “maybe everyone DOES have psychic powers!” Sigh.

  4. @Bevans:
Perhaps psychic powers are a recent development.
Also it may require the combination of recessive genes (a psychic might have to mate with another to produce psychic kids). And on top of that, most probably choose to marry nonpsychics so they wont be easily detected when they fib. I really would like to visit the inlaws but I have a splitting headache! Oh yeah I knew you were going to say that ; you just want to stay home and watch the ballgame.
