paranormal investigations…

The folks at Rocky Mountain Paranormal recently held a “little lecture on Stan Romanek, Jeff Peckman, and their kooky claims.” Unfortunately I was not able to attend, but I did get this email follow up from Baxter that I wanted to share (with permission). Those in Colorado should take special note of the last paragraph.

magazine coverI want [to] offer access to our latest issue of our pdf magazine, Modern Paranormal Investigator.  There is an article in there that goes into pretty good detail on this whole UFO thing. We usually charge $2.99 for the download but you guys have been very valuable to us so we’re just giving it to you.  If you feel like you want to purchase it after reading it, feel free, but it is not necessary (www.modernparanormal.com).

This is the link for the free copy:

We are also looking for opportunities to be able to take some of you with us on investigations. Let us know if that interests you!

Enjoy!

  1. I hope whatever skpetics go on this ‘investigation’ v ideotape it for the enjoyment of those of us who can’t make it. I can only imagine what a fun time would be had…

  2. I was able to make it to the talk. They were really good and have a ton of information. I think it would be a blast to join them in some of their endeavors.

  3. I went to see Romanek speak on Saturday. I actually bought a soda from him before I realized that he was alien-peeking-in-window-video-man.

Mostly Romanek showed videos of puppets, er, I mean… aliens. He also showed a few videos of helicopters and told stories of being harassed and followed by people he thinks are the government.

And apparently he also draws scientific equations in his sleep and according to one of the “physicists” one of these equations tells us how to bend space-time.

Hurry up and get it published in a peer-reviewed journal then so we can use it to get interstellar travel!

To put it in a nut shell, he has all the signs of a typical alien abductee. “Strange markings,” an “implant,” regression therapy which just plants memories, etc.

I guess I’ll blog about it one of these days… maybe.

  4. Hey All
I just moved to CO (south of Denver) in Jan. I and one of my colleagues at work are up for going on an investigation. Let me know if anyone else wants to go. I have a feeling I will need a drink either before or after (or both) so we need to find a good bar.

  5. WooHoo! Sent them an email today expressing my interest and received a phone number in return. With any luck I’ll get to go on an investigation amusing enough to write a comic about!

  6. I’m going to interview them for the blog after I get home, and I am also going to try to go on an investigation to write about it and maybe to take photos, if allowed. Plus Mr. Writerdd has always wanted to see a ghost! :-)
