Thoughts on the start end of my 27th year

Not very many, as it turns out . . . just another 580-odd million miles I’ve traveled around the sun. Another 200-or-so martinis, 350-ish blog posts, 30 books read. I’ve visited Alaska, BC, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maine, Connecticut, and New York. Not very many hours slept, and speaking of, the friend I’m Skyping is now yelling at me to go to bed, so I am. Thanks to all of you who sent birthday wishes (and presents)! The first hour and seven minutes have been marvelous.

(edit: I was very sleepy when writing the above title! I am 27. Thanks to everyone who bombarded me with emails to let me know, ha ha!)
