Upcoming appearance: my birthday party

My birthday isn’t until October 18, but I’m celebrating early and you’re all invited! It’ll be October 6 at the Redline in Harvard Square. RSVP on the evite if you can make it — I am guaranteeing it’ll be a good time, or your money back.

Also, don’t forget to check back here tomorrow night, when PRX will announce the winners of the Public Radio Talent Quest! Your good luck wishes are appreciated, albeit ironically.

  1. Happy early birthday! Now if you can just hold more early birthday parties slightly less than 1900 miles from me I might be able to attend more. :)

Have an extra drink for me.

  2. Wow,

I feel that an alien conspiracy might be the cause of it. Something to do with Area 51 and the Kennedy's, I'm sure.

But I have an incredible mental image, I can't shake it, predicting that there may just be some drinking at that party.

    It's amazing, I know.

It's a gift I've gotten from that Nova Spiritus jewelery that I never bought. It's magic, it works just as well even when you don't own it!

Well, have a great one and many, many more,

    Birthdays, not drinks…

    Oh, okay drinks too!

  3. Come over to York, England sometime and I'll buy you a real ale and some very, very nice single malt. 'Til then: Happy Birthday!!

  4. I'm not wishing you a happy birthday almost a month in advance.

You'll have to wait until a couple of days after, like everyone else.

  5. boy oh boy, you have bunches of fun then! I will try to project my astral body as well as an astral glass to the bar, so if you hear a ghostly *klink* that'd be me toasting you :)

  6. Apparently, they have a very different idea of what "8pm ET" means over there in Publicradioland. I want to know before I go to bed!
