Skepticism

Are you geeky enough?

Skepchicks, you are such geeks. I know it, because I get your emails and see your comments and drool over the sexy pictures you send me. Don’t stop!

Anne Casselman over at Inkling is hosting a geeky girl photo contest. The winner gets a 20×30″ poster of Ada Lovelace, historical girl geek (please note that there’s a rousing debate to be had over Ada’s true contributions to the wonderful world of mathematics and computing, giving this prize an extra special skeptical twist!). Anyway, head over there and submit your geeky girl photo! Then come back here and post it, cuz you know I love the sexy photos.
The contest celebrates the book She’s Such a Geek, a collection of girly scientific awesomeness. The editors came by Boston on a book tour a little while ago and I sadly had to miss it. I’ll attempt to make up for this here, by encouraging you all to high tail it to your local indie bookshop and scoop up a copy!

  1. I saw your picture in the contest. I don't know which is sexier, the nakedness or the periodic table shower curtain! Where did you get it?

    1. Having seen this comment from when I was younger and less well informed about the barrage of crap women get online, I feel the desire to delete it. I’m assuming at the time I thought it was a joke but now I’m not so sure it’s okay. I apologize for any offence caused.
