  1. Marian Call is currently in the middle of a fifty state tour. Most of the states left are eastern/southern states. Check out mariancall.com to see if she’s going to be near you and then go! I’ve had the great fortune to hear Marian twice and it was amazing both times.

Actually if you live in West Virginia she’s still looking to book a venue. Anyone know of a cool coffee shop, hip bookstore, or even perhaps a location for a house concert?

  2. Awesome! I really liked the bumper sticker in the video too. I wonder if there’s a t shirt version?

  3. Ahh, nerd and geek girls! Truly, a beautiful thing to behold. She’s an absolutely fantastic artist. I can honestly say I’ve never heard a typewriter used in such a way. Though the video lacked a certain something. Mostly Samantha Carter. I mean if you’re going to sing about geek girls, you need to have Samantha Carter in there. She’s sexy, tough, and smart enough to reverse engineer the Stargate dialing system without so much as a DHD for reference!

  4. Awesome song! Marian Call is one of my favorite singers.

For those of you who get Netflix, there is serious Instant Watch geekery to be had in the form of a movie called “Dorkness Rising”. I can highly recommend it. As a plus it has Jen Page, one of my favorite geek girls of all time in it.

  5. What a great video!

I noticed commander Adama popped up for a moment there. I clenched my fist and said “Yeah!”

Sometimes I am amazed by my own nerdiness.
