The Iranian government arrested two 23-year-olds for appearing in a music video singing and dancing in support of the Iranian soccer team in the World Cup.

SUDAN
Meriam Ibrahim, the Sudanese woman freed from death row was detained at the airport for allegedly trying to leave the country with fake documents. She’s now been freed again.

IRAN
A bill outlawing multiple forms of birth control has passed a first reading in Iran’s parliament. The bill bans sterilization, vasectomies, tubal ligation, and abortion, unless they are authorized.

NIGERIA
Nigerian pop singer Adokiye has caused a social media storm by offering her virginity to Islamic militants Boko Haram in exchange for the return of hundreds of kidnapped schoolgirls.

BRAZIL
The virus that causes polio has been found in sewage in one of the cities where World Cup matches are being played. With travelers visiting from all over the world for the World Cup, this is terrifying.
