HUGE NEWS! Science for the People Joins the Skepchick Fam

I’m so excited to announce the partnering of Skepchick with Science for the People, an excellent podcast and radio show that has been delivering smart and fascinating interviews for several years now!

Science for the People is hosted by Rachelle Saunders with Desiree Schell. Many Skepchick fans may already know Desiree thanks to her annual presence at SkepchickCon, where she runs some of our most popular panels. Now, you’ll get to know Rachelle as she officially joins Skepchick as a regular writer! She’ll be posting articles here along with each new episode of Science for the People (starting with today’s!), giving you a more in-depth look at that week’s topic.

Rachelle is also a serious reader, so you can look forward to more Skepchick Book Club posts in the near future!

This partnership will also change a few things for the better on Science for the People, as Desiree focuses more on putting together awesome panels for your listening–and watching–pleasure. That’s right: she’ll be working with the Skepchick events team to not just plan more podcast panels, but to also plan panels that you can watch live online. And of course, she’ll be back at SkepchickCon once again next year to host more panel goodness.

So, please join me in wishing a huge and happy welcome to Rachelle and Desiree for officially partnering with us to make both Skepchick and Science for the People a thousand times more awesome!

  1. I have been listening to ‘science for the people’ since it began (under the previous skeptical name), a great podcast.
