  1. As a consumer, I’ve been dismayed and loathing drug ads for decades! I didn’t spend x years in medical school &tc. so I take a doctor’s advise on which medications to take. I wouldn’t trust a car repair to someone who doesn’t know cars (such as myself), I’m not gonna do the same with my health. Bravo!

  2. Relax, everyone, it’s not the end of porn.

It’s the end of print media.

But I could’ve told you that. Every time Time publishes a jeremiad about millennials, they just got a report that print media’s share of the market shrank.

  3. Rebecca Harreman deserves great kudos for her courage against the antivaxxers, especially at a time when she must have been feeling exhausted and vulnerable with a sick baby.
A few kind words of encouragement from this community could go a long way, if the opportunity arises. Salut!

  4. Banning direct-to-consumers drug advertising is a good start.

I would add direct-to-doctors advertising as well, including “perks” that are invariably coercive in the choice of treatment options no matter how “uncorruptible” the doctors believe themselves to be.
