Quiz-o-Tron Coming to Minneapolis

Now you have even more reason to come out to Minneapolis in early July. Not only is SkepchickCon going on during CONvergence, July 3 through July 6, but Rebecca is hosting a Quiz-o-Tron Wednesday night, July 2, at Bryant Lake Bowl in Uptown.

Get your tickets now before they sell out. They are $12 in advance, $15 at the door. If they still have tickets left at the door and you have a CONvergence badge from any year, you can get in for $12.

The show starts at 7:00pm, with doors opening at 6:00pm, and full bar and menu service in the theater, throughout the show.

If you haven’t witnessed Quiz-o-Tron at DragonCon in the past, it’s basically a science-themed quiz show where Rebecca asks a panel of comedians and scientists ridiculous questions and they compete to win the admiration of their peers. Audience participation is encouraged! In Minneapolis, Rebecca will be joined by Bill Corbett, Joseph Scrimshaw, Molly Catherine Glover, Sharon Stiteler, and Jill Bernard.

All proceeds from Quiz-o-Tron go toward the materials and supplies we need for SkepchickCon science activities, workshops, demos, and panels. We are also raising money through eBay auctions, including an at-con personal photo shoot with Skepchick Jamie Bernstein. That auction ends tonight, so if you’re going to CONvergence, and especially if you plan to cosplay, get your bid in soon!
