Auctions for Science Extravaganza!

Cross-posted with Skepchick Events.

This is our last week to raise money for SkepchickCon, the science, skepticism, and social justice track at CONvergence, a sci-fi/fantasy con held in the Minneapolis area July 3-6.

So we’re auctioning ALL the things so we can give you something in return for your support of all the activities, demos, salons, and panels we’re hosting at the con. If nothing in the auctions appeals to you but you still want to help, we could REALLY use it. Just click the image below or Paypal a donation to [email protected] We do not profit at all from this con. Even a single dollar donation will help us out. Thanks!

Is it true what they say about big feet? Have you always longed for a wet Nessy adventure? A probing UFO tryst? We haven’t either, but it makes for hilarious cheesy romance, a.k.a. humorotica. The winning bidder on this auction will receive a custom tale of cryptozoological or paranormal romance. Click here for more info and to bid.

What Is SkepchickCon

For more information about SkepchickCon, check out our new website, including our huge lineup of speakers, and the 70 panels, workshops, and readings we’re involved in at the con, more than half of those Skepchick-sponsored.

This is in addition to the science and art activities and salons we’ll be hosting for the first time this year in the Skepchick Space Lab, plus a new mixology demo from MAL’s Anne Sauer. We’ll have more details on the Space Lab schedule up soon.

Please help us out by bidding, spreading the word about the auctions and the SkepchickCon site, or donating directly.

Thanks so much for your support!
