PAKISTAN
The Pakistan army was asked to assist the civilian government by taking over security of polio eradication teams in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. More than 30 people working in vaccination teams have been killed in the last two years.

UGANDA
A Catholic bishop praised the Ugandan Parliament for the Anti-Homosexuality Act that provides life in prison for LGBT people and told parents of gay and lesbian children that they would be rewarded in heaven if they turned over their gay and lesbian children to the state for punishment.

SAUDI ARABIA
The same week Saudi Arabia issued its first flying license to a female pilot, a woman was fined for driving a car.

POLAND
The Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster can now apply to be registered as an official religion in Poland.

INDIA
Samajwadi Party leader Abu Azmi has said that any woman who has sex outside marriage should be hanged, including women “raped with or without their consent”. In an interview that would make any MRA proud, the politician talked about the problem of false accusations and whinny women complaining over everything.
