Skepchick Challenge: Send 20 Students to SSA Con

Yessenia of Queereka and SAC City Freethinkers want to help send 1020* students to the Secular Student Alliance Conference in Las Vegas this June. Considering how amazing SSA is and the importance of supporting the future of secularism, we want to do whatever we can to help them out.

The Skepchick Challenge: If we can raise $2,500 for travel, lodging, and conference fees by June 4, Yessenia will shave her head (and of course post about it, with pics). If you can spare a little cash to help them out, Paypal your donation to Sara Burke of SAC City Freethinkers at Burkesaram [at] gmail.com or just click on the Donate button below:

*Corrected in the post title as well: This money will send 10 from SAC City Freethinkers and 10 from the Berkeley Atheist and Skeptic Society (BASS).

Do you have ideas for a cause that could use extra fundraising help? Suggestions for a challenge you’d like to see a Skepchick contributor complete? Contact us, and we’ll consider it for a future Skepchick Challenge.
