  1. I found the Oregon article interesting because we tend to forget the rampant corruption that existed prior to law reform.

    On a similar note, the other night I was watching the story of 1970’s pro-abortion campaigner Dr Bertram Wainer.

    Even though I was around at the time and remember many of the incidents, to see the whole thing together just about blew me away.

    This was police corruption and extortion on an epic scale, going all the way to the top, to the extent that the police put out a hit on the man, his associates and family when he threatened to expose the whole rotten situation.

    If repressive legislation is reintroduced, I fear that history will repeat itself.
