Spermicidal FroYo, Anyone?

Did you hear? Birth control, breast pumps, HIV screening, and abuse counseling without copay for everyone! Everyone in the US I mean. Everyone in the US who doesn’t work for a religious organization that chooses not to offer these services through their insurance coverage. This news has the conservatives in a tizzy! Watch Stephen Colbert take them down:

“A woman’s health decisions are a private matter between her priest and her husband.”

How incredible is it that one of the best advocates for women’s sexual health on television is a Catholic man playing a conservative jackass on Comedy Central?

  1. These RWNJs have completely lost their minds, and any sense of decency. You were right, Rebecca, they are waging a war against women, on all fronts.

Any argument against free birth control is completely artificial, in every way (also, in many cases, it is just eliminating the copay).

This is a measure that had no downside: access to effective birth control reduces unwanted pregnancies, and it also reduces abortions. Which the cons claim to want to eliminate.

    Lying Bastards.

  2. A day without Colbert is like a day without sunshine.
We can only hope that if we give these morons enough rope, that they will finally hang themselves, but jeeze, how much more friggin’ rope will it take!
