Are you wondering about ways to get more involved in skeptical activism? Wondering if you can actually make a difference but not sure exactly how?

I’m really proud to announce that Skepchick is offering a Grassroots Skepticism Workshop at SkepchickCon this year. Desiree Schell and I will be hosting the workshop and helping you navigate the best practices and pitfalls of activism.

You don’t need to be a CONvergence attendee to participate in the workshop. And although we encourage donations, the workshop is free to anyone who wants to participate. But you do have to register so we can get you materials and information ahead of time.

Learn all about it and sign up here!

Can’t make it but still want to help out? Donate to SkepchickCon and help us put on more great events like this!

Masala Skeptic

Maria Walters (a.k.a. Masala Skeptic) has spent a lot of time in ‘furrin parts,’ including Hong Kong, Trinidad, and Pittsburgh. Although her passport is from India, she’s spent most of her adult life in the United States. She currently lives in Atlanta and has an unhealthy affection for science fiction, Neil Gaiman and all things Muppet.
